Mary Schmidt’s early wandering in the woods led to an education in horticulture, landscape, herbalism. She works as an herbal consultant and educator for the ethical and safe use of herbs. Mary’s goals have been to expand the herbal community in Spokane and help make herbs available to those in need.

Cara, having worked at a bank is the most amazingly meticulous herbalist we have ever encountered. Most plant people are not numbers people, Cara is the exception.

Jessica's travels schooled her in permaculture, herbs, community living and a host of other skills. She can be found mothering her children, teaching classes at Between the Rivers, supporting the Faire and spreading herbal knowledge in the Inland Northwest.

Melody Getman was born and raised in Spokane and just can’t seem to get away.  She enjoys learning about other living things, especially plants and animals.  When she’s not doing construction or agricultural work, she enjoys playing cribbage and going for long walks in the channeled scablands with her beloved dog, Trish.  Melody has been serving as the Four Seasons Herbal Guild’s board secretary since August of 2021.

Rachel Clark is a certified clinical herbalist, flower essence practitioner, and freelance writer. Finding herbalism was like a breath of fresh air that allowed her to tap into her intuition, advocate for herself, and regain control over her health.
